This role could possibly turn into a full time position. In this role, you will provide critical social services, crisis management, and behavioral health support to diverse populations, ensuring they receive the resources and guidance needed to thrive. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while utilizing your expertise in social work, addiction counseling, child welfare, and workforce development. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, including crisis intervention and behavioral health evaluations. Develop and implement tailored care plans that help with the residents well being Provide crisis management by responding swiftly to urgent situations, de-escalating conflicts, and coordinating emergency responses when necessary. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients toward positive behavioral change and recovery. Collaborate with community partners on workforce development initiatives and Medicare-related programs to expand access to essential services. Proven experience in social work, or behavioral health roles with a focus on client advocacy. Demonstrated supervisory or mentoring experience with staff or volunteers. Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs, Medicare policies, and workforce development strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse populations through motivational interviewing techniques. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and empathy. Relevant certifications or licenses in social work, counseling, or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
