The Program Director IV is responsible for assuring adequate staffing patterns, meeting performance standards and compliance for supervised programs. Provides qualitative, supportive, and administrative leadership to staff. Works in collaboration with other Divisions and support departments within the Agency to achieve Division goals and objectives. Maintains effective collaborative working relationships with Law Enforcement, Courts, and various community stakeholders. Your role in
Action:
Plans and implements program/unit objectives in accordance with applicable policies, plans and procedures. Monitors the delivery of appropriate services. Reviews Utilization Review and Quality Assurance reports. Creates/implements, monitors corrective action plans based upon report results. Develops, prioritizes and implements measurable goals & objectives & processes to meet Agency mission, performance targets/requirements and Quality standards related to the delivery of clinical care. Reviews all data available to ensure compliance with contract performance targets, quality management audits and other regulatory requirements and assures processes are instituted for correction of non-compliant areas. In collaboration with the Division's Budget Manager, monitors achievement of budgetary targets (expenses and revenue) for program supervised & assures correction for unacceptable variances. Works collaboratively with Law Enforcement and community stakeholders to facilitate information in a coordinated and timely manner. Works collaboratively with the Director and other Agency administrative staff to facilitate inter and intra-divisional integration to share information in a coordinated and timely manner. Works collaboratively with Agency staff to enhance customer satisfaction. Coordinates as requested with local and state agencies to improve operations, treatment outcomes and collaborations. Performs other related duties as assigned. Contributes to suicide care and prevention by embracing our values and applying a trauma-informed approach rooted in safety, trust, choice, collaboration, and empowerment.
What qualifications you will need:
Education:
Master's degree in Human Services field.
Experience :
At least 7 years' experience working in mental health and or mental disabilities setting to include 4 years' management experience. This experience should include overseeing 24-hour programs (i.e., hospitals, residential programs, emergency centers), budgets, professional staff, Medicaid and other revenue generating activities. Other Key Qualifications Clinical license through the State of Texas for one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT, required. Maintains current licensure/ credentials with appropriate state licensure regulatory board:
LPC, LCSW, or LMFT Requires Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of treatment modalities for a wide range of psychiatric conditions. Must have basic knowledge of principles of the development, implementation and documentation of individualized care and treatment. Must have working knowledge of basic principles of management. Ability to effectively lead others in achieving organizational goals. Strong communication skills with ability to effectively converse and listen to others and construct clear and concise written communication.
