Job Description

Are you passionate about working with children, leading a team, and making a meaningful impact in your community? The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a positive, energetic, and experienced Youth Development Center Director to lead our before- and after-school child care program at the Midlothian Family YMCA. This is a rewarding leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and is excited to help children grow, learn, and feel supported every day.
Qualifications:
What You Bring We're looking for a confident, compassionate leader who is ready to make a difference.
Ideal candidates will have:
Experience supervising staff and supporting program operations Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Experience leading groups of youth A positive, enthusiastic leadership style A valid driver's license with a good driving record Virginia DOE licensing qualifications (college-level coursework in a related field or CDA required) Must be at least 21 years old
