This position is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to ensure they are effectively engaged and utilized within various programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for community service, enabling them to inspire and motivate volunteers. Duties Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies to attract diverse candidates. Organize and conduct training sessions for new volunteers, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles. Supervise and support volunteers throughout their engagement, providing guidance and feedback as necessary. Manage volunteer schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for events and programs. Utilize social media platforms to promote volunteer opportunities and highlight volunteer contributions. Collaborate with other departments to identify volunteer needs and opportunities within the organization. Conduct public speaking engagements to promote the volunteer program and recruit new participants. Skills Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing teams or groups. Strong recruiting skills to effectively attract and retain volunteers. Proficiency in social media management to enhance outreach efforts. Experience in training development to create engaging training materials for volunteers. Excellent public speaking skills to represent the organization at events and meetings. Ability to supervise volunteers effectively while fostering a positive team environment.
