40 hours per week with work schedule option: Monday•Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm OR Monday•Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm (9 hours) and Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (8 hours), off every other Friday
Pay Rate:
$28.85•$29.13 per hour
Education:
High School diploma with at least 1 year of related experience required. Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.

Assist clients with behavioral health needs in accessing housing options using a Sponsor Based Subsidy (SBS) through the San Diego Housing Commission. Provide a minimum of monthly housing retention visits to assigned clients to assist them with maintaining housing and problem-solve any barriers. Complete all required Housing Commission paperwork and complete required documentation in HMIS/Clarity database. Support clients to get onto permanent housing lists and provides housing skills training to ensure clients achieve an optimal level of health and functioning within the community. Support Housing First guidelines by providing training to staff and community members. Help arrange moves to apartments. Maintain relationships with housing managers and property management to help support both them and the client in maintaining successful housing. Work collaboratively with all other members of the community to maximize successful client housing placement. Additional Qualifications and Skills 1+ years of housing specialist experience with adults with severe mental illness preferred Knowledge of Housing First model is strongly preferred Previous experience in a mental health experience strongly preferred Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, Excel applications, as well as internet research skills required A valid California driver's license in good standing, personal vehicle, proof of insurance and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position Must be able to pass criminal/background clearance CRF inspires and mentors the next generation of mental health professionals! Our Intensive Mobile Psychosocial Assertive Community Treatment programs (Downtown IMPACT, IMPACT, Senior IMPACT and South Bay IMPACT) provide intensive, community-based case management services for homeless adults throughout San Diego County. We deliver fully integrated services to clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance disorders. Our programs utilizes the evidence-based practice of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) to support our clients in the higher level of community care and to assist them in reaching their goals and living a life not dominated by mental illness. Our team is a model of care, providing treatment, rehabilitation, and case management supports. CRF staff members work together to meet the needs of San Diego County's residents who are experiencing mental/behavioral health challenges.
