Job Description

Definition Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine and complex non-sworn assignments in support of the City's Police Department. This position is responsible for assisting with animal control, municipal code enforcement, crime prevention programs, traffic control, parking enforcement, and making various reports for the department. Duties include interpretation and enforcement of adopted codes, ordinances, and related rules and regulations.

This is a journey-level class that performs the full range of non-sworn duties related to community service activities including animal control, serving subpoenas, creating incident reports, public nuisance reporting, enforcing traffic ordinances, and identifying other issues relating to the health, safety, and general welfare of the community.
