06/04/2026 About the Role Clarvida is seeking a Community Support Specialist - Level I to provide direct, hands-on support to children, youth, and families involved in the child welfare system. In this role, you will work closely with families who are at risk of having children removed from the home or whose children are currently placed outside the home. Your work will focus on transportation, visitation support, advocacy, and skill-building to promote family connection, stability, and reunification. This is a relationship-driven, community-based role that requires flexibility, reliability, and strong engagement skills. Transporting children to services and parent visitation is a core responsibility of this position. Responsibilities Provide transportation for children and youth to parent visitation, services, and appointments as required Support families during parent visitation alongside peers and group service providers Advocate for children and families while supporting access to needed services Assist families with goal-setting and skill development Document services, progress, and concerns accurately and timely Report concerns of alleged abuse or neglect in accordance with policy and state requirements Testify in court as required Collaborate with supervisors and multidisciplinary teams Meet regularly with supervisors to support professional growth Requirements Bachelor's degree in a human service field such as Counseling, Social Work, Counseling, Special Education, Human Services, etc. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record Active auto insurance Ability to pass fingerprinting and required background checks Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Compensation & Benefits Full-Time Employees $20.75/hour Flexible scheduling based on client needs Paid vacation days that increase with tenure Separate sick leave that rolls over annually Up to 10 paid holidays
