This role is responsible for managing daily box office operations, supporting ticket sales and reporting, and coordinating volunteer scheduling and communication. As the "face" of CSPS Hall, you will play a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional experience for patrons, artists, and community partners. This position works closely with the Program Manager and Booking Team to ensure accurate event information, smooth ticketing operations, and effective volunteer engagement. Key ResponsibilitiesBox Office & Customer Service Open, operate, and close the box office; maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace Greet patrons, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and via email Respond to general inquiries within 24 hours Handle customer concerns professionally, including de-escalation when needed Maintain up-to-date knowledge of events, programs, and venue details Ticketing & Financial Operations Process ticket sales accurately (in person and over the phone) Manage ticket inventory and resolve payment issues Follow all cash handling procedures and reconcile daily transactions Prepare settlement reports and assist with artist payments for events Generate monthly and event-based reports as requested Facility & Event Support Ensure the building and public-facing spaces are tidy Assist with event setup Support event operations as needed Volunteer Coordination Schedule volunteer shifts in coordination with the Program Manager Monitor volunteer needs and ensure all shifts are filled Respond to volunteer inquiries within 24 hours Communicate regularly with volunteers about opportunities and updates Assist with onboarding and training to ensure adherence to organizational policies Qualifications Customer Service Experience required; box office, retail, or event experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable handling cash and basic financial reporting Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Basic computer proficiency; ability to learn ticketing and database systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Experience with QuickBooks or similar systems is a plus Availability Requirements Reliable transportation required Regular hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 11:45 am - 6:00 pm Must be available for occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule Why Join CSPS Hall?
