What You'll Do As a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP), you'll oversee services for adults receiving Residential Habilitation through Idaho Medicaid. You'll work closely with participants, families, guardians, caregivers, and community partners to ensure high-quality, person-centered services. You will spend 75% of your time in the office and 25% of your time in the community.
Responsibilities include:
Participant Services Complete or obtain functional assessments within required timeframes. Develop individualized Residential Habilitation Program Plans based on each participant's authorized Plan of Service. Write measurable skill acquisition and behavior support programs. Monitor participant progress toward goals. Modify programs as needed based on participant progress, regression, or changing needs. Conduct routine participant visits in homes and community settings. Ensure participant health, safety, dignity, and rights are protected at all times. Participate in person-centered planning meetings, ISP meetings, and interdisciplinary team meetings. Staff Training & Supervision Train all Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on participant-specific programs prior to implementation. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and competency-based training. Conduct quarterly supervision of habilitation services, or more frequently when necessary. Observe staff implementing programs and provide corrective instruction when needed. Ensure staff understand documentation requirements and agency policies. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate participant records. Complete assessments, progress notes, program revisions, and required documentation within established deadlines. Review service documentation for accuracy and compliance. Monitor documentation for Medicaid billing compliance. Ensure services comply with Idaho DHW Residential Habilitation regulations and Medicaid requirements. Participate in internal quality assurance and agency audits. Communication Serve as the primary professional contact for participants, guardians, case managers, nurses, physicians, therapists, and other providers. Communicate participant concerns promptly with appropriate team members. Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to improve participant outcomes. Quality Assurance Monitor service quality and participant satisfaction. Assist in developing corrective action plans when deficiencies are identified. Support agency accreditation and licensing requirements. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and agency policies. Other Duties Participate in on-call rotation as assigned. Assist during participant admissions, transitions, and discharges. Attend required trainings and maintain professional development. Perform other duties assigned by management. Salary Range:
