Lee County Council on Aging About the
Role:
Join our team to make a difference for seniors and disabled individuals on Medicare and Caregivers! As an Outreach Specialist, you'll connect clients with essential services and guide them through assistance programs.
Key Duties:
Assist seniors 60+ and disabled clients with Medicare and low-income programs. Educate clients on available services like Medicaid, SNAP, LIHEAP, and more. Keep detailed records and maintain confidentiality. Attend trainings to stay up-to-date on resources. Obtain SHIP and AIRS certification (willing and able to become certified).
What We're Looking For:
High School diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel). Great customer service skills. Self-starter with a proactive approach. Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
