FULL TIME, 1.0 FTE
The Volunteer Coordinator, under the direction of the Hospice Manager, is responsible for the screening, recruitment and training of prospective volunteers for all settings and position descriptions and is responsible for the assignment and ongoing supervision of all volunteers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Currently enrolled in or have completed a post-secondary education program in related field; OR (see experience).
Experience:
Three (3) years of management or supervision experience.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Wisconsin Background Study upon hire and renewed per Wisconsin state law.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Experience:
In administration and supervision of volunteers preferred. Experience as a Hospice Volunteer preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
N/A KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES READING

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints. WRITING

Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, top management, public groups, clients, customers, and the general public.

Basic Skills:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
