Key Responsibilities:
Provide community-based mental health services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and implementation of interventions. Collaborate with clients and families to create and execute individualized treatment plans aligning with their specific goals. Utilize a strengths-based approach, emphasizing empowerment and incorporating evidence-based practices like Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Strategies. Coordinate care with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, schools, and community organizations to ensure cohesive support. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to organizational procedures. Engage in staff development activities to enhance your skills in youth mental health services. Participate in the organization's quality improvement initiatives through data collection and reporting. Work collaboratively within a team to ensure effective coordination of care and support for clients. Prepare for and facilitate group sessions pertinent to client treatment goals. Education, Experience, and/or
Credential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related human services field is required; or Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with two years of related experience; or A combination of higher education and two years of related experience; or Associate's of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support will also fulfill educational requirements; or Four years of qualifying experience providing services to individuals with mental health or substance use disorders.
Additional Qualifications:
Must possess adequate written skills to complete required documentation accurately and within prescribed time frames. Must have a current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance. Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to operate a company-owned vehicle. Must be at least twenty-three (23) years of age to operate a company-owned fifteen (15) passenger van. Reliable transportation is required to transport clients as needed.

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects, including the human body.
Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift. Sedentary work typically involves sitting most of the time but may include brief periods of walking or standing.
