Job Description
We are currently seeking both new and experienced Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) to join our Community Support Team (CST). This role involves providing one-on-one, community-based support to individuals working toward improved mental health stability and overall wellness. As a CPSS, you will: Work directly with clients in their homes and community settings Provide weekly support focused on recovery, stability, and independence Assist clients in developing and using effective coping skills Connect individuals to essential community resources (housing, employment, healthcare, etc.) Offer encouragement, advocacy, and lived-experience support Collaborate with the CST team to track progress and support treatment goals
Position Expectations:
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance for scheduled client sessions Attend biweekly team meetings to support coordination of care Participate in monthly supervision as required for compliance and professional development Complete documentation in a timely and accurate mannerIdeal Candidates Will:
Hold current CPSS certification (or be eligible) Have a passion for helping others through shared lived experience Be reliable, compassionate, and community-oriented Have strong communication and engagement skills Be comfortable working independently in the fieldOur Mission:
