YOUTH PARTNERSHIP ASSISTANT JOB POSTING
Family Based Services Association (FBSA) is part of New Jersey's Family Support Organizations (FSOs). FSOs are family-led, community-based, non-profit agencies whose mission is to provide support, advocacy, and education to families and caregivers of children with emotional, behavioral, mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse challenges. Job Summary Family Based Services is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and organized Youth Partnership Assistant to support our growing youth leadership initiatives. Ideal candidates will support youth at weekly groups, occasional weekend events, volunteer opportunities, and social media engagement/management. This position is ideal for someone passionate about youth empowerment, building community connections, and creating meaningful mentorship opportunities for youth ages 13-21. Working closely with the Coordinator of Community Partnerships and Programs, this individual will help foster positive experiences that encourage social skills development and community involvement. Key Responsibilities Assisting with evening groups. Support social media content creation. Assist with program materials, handouts, and preparation. Assist with community services projects. Encourage youth participation. Qualifications High school diploma required. Coursework in psychology, education, human services, social work, criminal justice, marketing, or related fields preferred but not required. Ability to work with youth up to age 21. Ability to take direction and work independently or with a team. Reliable transportation required. Comfortable using social media platforms. Ability to work late afternoon/evenings and occasional weekends for events as required. Creative thinker with the ability to engage diverse youth populations. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
