Hawthorne Supervised Apartments is a 24-hour supervised apartment program for adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking dynamic individuals to serve as Residence Counselors.
The responsibilities include:
- Carrying out residence's program plan developed in connection with resident's goals, objectives and individual needs and preferences
- Ensuring the health and safety of residents
- Providing assistance to residents in meeting goals and objectives
- Properly maintaining program and consumer records Prospective applicants must have BA in human services with one to three years of experience or a high school diploma with two to three years of experience in the human services field; good organizational skills; the ability to multi-task and the ability to work effectively as a member of a team; good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and a valid, clean NJ driver's license.
