GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This full time exempt position, reporting to the Director, is responsible for developing and coordinating a network of resources and services to support the development of life skills and the achievement of health and welfare needs of residents serviced by the programs

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Assessing individual resident needs regarding life skills and employment development Design and implement a referral and follow up process for clients Design programs that will enable each resident to achieve his/her goals as stated in the program plan Interpret rules and regulations, policies and procedures, and the standards and objectives of the company and contracting agencies Maintain accurate documentation and reports as required by contracts. Coordinating social service and employment resources Act decisively, tactfully and with firmness in emergency situations; Communicate effectively, orally and in writing with all levels of the organization and other components of the Criminal Justice System, and Participate in mandated training and development activities Meet contracting agency clearance requirements Performs other work-related job duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

One year of demonstrated satisfactory performance in a social science environment, experience working with a criminal justice population is a plus. Valid driver's license.

The functions of the Criminal Justice System The principles of community corrections, and Individual and group behavior of persons with criminal backgrounds

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
