Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Volunteer Coordinator to lead and inspire our volunteer community. In this role, you will develop, implement, and oversee volunteer programs that support our mission and enhance community engagement. Your energetic leadership will ensure volunteers are recruited, trained, and managed effectively, creating a positive experience that fosters growth, dedication, and impactful service. Responsibilities Recruit, screen, and onboard volunteers through innovative outreach strategies, including social media management and campus recruitment initiatives. Develop comprehensive training and development programs to equip volunteers with the skills needed for various roles. Manage volunteer schedules, assignments, and records using tools to ensure smooth operations. Supervise volunteer activities, providing guidance, support, and recognition to foster a motivated and committed team. Organize public speaking engagements and community events to promote volunteer programs and increase awareness. Maintain ongoing communication with volunteers via social media platforms and email updates to keep them engaged and informed. Collaborate with management to evaluate program effectiveness, implement improvements, and expand volunteer opportunities aligned with organizational goals. Requirements Experience in volunteer management or social work with a strong background in supervising teams. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of volunteers. Excellent public speaking abilities for presentations, training sessions, and community outreach. Experience in campus recruitment or recruiting strategies to attract new volunteers effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of social media management tools to promote programs and engage audiences online. $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
