Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Volunteer Coordinator to lead our volunteer engagement efforts and foster a vibrant community of dedicated individuals. In this role, you will develop and implement volunteer programs, recruit and train volunteers, and ensure a positive experience for all participants. Your leadership will be instrumental in advancing our mission through effective volunteer management, social media outreach, and strategic collaboration with internal teams. Duties Design, coordinate, and oversee volunteer programs to meet organizational goals Recruit volunteers through campus recruitment initiatives, social media campaigns, and community outreach Conduct training sessions and development workshops to equip volunteers with necessary skills Manage volunteer records using Salesforce and Raiser's Edge databases to track engagement and performance Supervise volunteer activities ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality service delivery Lead public speaking engagements to promote volunteer opportunities and organizational initiatives Collaborate with management to develop leadership pathways for volunteers and identify future leaders Oversee social media management to enhance visibility, attract new volunteers, and share success stories Requirements Proven experience in volunteer management or social work with supervisory responsibilities Strong proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Raiser's Edge database systems Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to motivate diverse audiences Experience in campus recruitment, recruiting strategies, and social media management Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on training & development and team supervision Background in social work or community service initiatives preferred Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Join us as a Volunteer Coordinator and be a catalyst for positive change!
