Role Overview:

Mentors will provide hands-on guidance, focusing on life skills, workforce development, and navigating social service systems.

Responsibilities:

Provide peer-level support and mentorship to help clients stay on track with their service plans. Collaborate with the Counselor and external social services to ensure holistic care. Accompany clients to essential appointments or community resources as needed.

Assist clients in navigating Section 8 housing applications and child welfare services. Facilitate workforce development programs to enhance employability and job-seeking skills.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required; relevant lived experience or professional experience in social services highly valued. Familiarity with child welfare systems and housing regulations. Ability to work independently and as a reliable member of a collaborative team. A compassionate, non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals in transition.
