FLSA - Non-Exempt About the Role The Program Compliance Specialist is responsible for reviewing and verifying all required documentation and quality checks prior to billing for services. This includes reviewing case notes, treatment plans, and supporting documentation such as paystubs, medical records, and release forms, as well as working directly with staff to obtain any missing information. The role also involves meeting one-on-one with staff to provide guidance and coaching to improve documentation practices, ensuring daily work with program participants is clearly, accurately, and consistently captured. The Awesome Things You'll Do Review regulations to develop an understanding of requirements of different funders, regulators and grants Responsible for assisting in compliance with all funding/regulator sources Review staffs' time & attendance to ensure that all daily checklist entries fall in between clock in/out times Assist with reviewing daily checklists, monthly summaries, and/or other forms of service documentation Assist with tracking Life Plan rotation and meetings and ensuring that plans are received in a timely manner from CCO's Assist in reviewing Staff Action Plans prior to LP meetings and again before plan is submitted to CM Review all LPs and SAP's to ensure they meet the funders/regulators requirements Assist with obtaining documents necessary for billing (i.e. LP, NOD, LCED, Evaluations, etc.) and tracking when they expire Create and maintain electronic charts & PHI information Uploading documents in electronic charts and shared network drives Review electronic charts to determine compliance with different funders/regulators requirements to ensure chart is up to date and current Enter data in Foothold Technology-AWARDS for client tracking and billing Document results of review using software applications such as Excel, AWARDS, etc. Document and submit reports summarizing QA's findings Liaise with Goodwill's Compliance division and outside funders Review Incident reports as needed Provide staff training as necessary Other duties as requested by supervisor Activities are subject to change / be added to meet business needs with management approval. Our Must Haves BA/ BS in relevant area preferred 2 years' experience delivering or overseeing services for people with Intellectual Disabilities / Developmental Disabilities or relevant population preferred Prior auditing/ compliance experience strongly preferred Must be detailed oriented and accurate in highly consistent manner Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Be proactive and take initiative Must possess time management and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of MS Word, MS
