The PSSL would provide a follow-up referral service in matters concerning areas such as mental health, homelessness, dependency and addiction, and family services. The PSSL position would supplement

Consistently exercise discretion and clinical judgment in regard to the treatment, services, and programming options provided and/or communicated to clients and community stakeholders. Facilitate behavioral health services (mental health and substance use) utilizing evidence-based interventions with individuals, families/couples, and/or groups in an office or community-based settings at a level that is consistent with established service productivity requirements. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with community behavioral health providers and other community-based social services. Assist in researching resources for individuals not otherwise connected and for families in crisis who are interested in linkage to local service providers. Document PSSL referral activities and provide regular updates to facilitate the progress of cases. Prepare and submit the service summaries and reports at frequency as agreed upon between both partner entities. Work with management staff to ensure that the PSSL program is compliant with all regulations, standards, and policies of funding and accrediting bodies including ensuring that the prevention programs are operating in accordance with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services prevention certification standards.
