Do you stay calm under pressure and thrive in fast‑paced environments where empathy and sound judgment matter most? CRCSI is seeking a Part‑Time Crisis Specialist to support individuals and families in crisis throughout Fayette County.
What You'll Do:
Answer local and national crisis calls, including the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline Provide walk‑in support and mobile crisis services throughout Fayette County, PA Conduct mental health assessments using evidence‑based practices Support individuals experiencing mental health crises, substance use relapse, domestic violence, or reentry challenges Utilize de‑escalation techniques and assist with individualized crisis planning Connect individuals with essential community resources such as housing, treatment, and case management Complete accurate and timely documentation in required systems Mobile crisis services are completed using a company vehicle — employees do not use their personal vehicles.
What We're Looking For:
A calm, empathetic, and professional presence in high‑stress situations Strong communication, documentation, and time‑management skills Sound clinical judgment and attention to detail Passion for serving individuals during moments of crisis Ability to work primarily evening shifts with rotating weekend coverage
Schedule & Pay:
Primary shift: Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM
  • 10:00 PM Base pay: $18.
00 per hour Shift differentials available for weekend coverage —$4.00 per hour Why Join CRCSI? Education & Eligibility Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a mental health-related field is required, Valid driver's license required and must meet company insurance coverage requirements Must be able to obtain and maintain: FBI Criminal Background Clearance PA State Police Clearance PA Child Abuse Clearance Mandated Reporter Training
