JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Responsible for implementation of marketing plan and establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns. Accountable for new business growth and generation of appropriate referrals. Complies with all laws and regulations, including Accreditation Agencies standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES 1.

Assists the Director of Business Growth and Development in establishing allocations for the marketing department. Monitors resource allocation within budgetary constraints. 2. Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections. 3. Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections. 4. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources. 5. Builds and monitors community, customer, payer and patient perceptions of ECHO Hospice as a high quality provider of services. 6. Provides leadership in strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs. 7. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of ECHO Hospice markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor's market positioning. 8. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel. 9. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources should services not be provided by ECHO Hospice. 10. Monitors and reports the cost-effectiveness of marketing efforts. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be proficient in the English language
• At least three (3) years experience in healthcare preferred.
• Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
• Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
• Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements 1. The ability to sit occasionally for 1-3 hours. 2. The ability to frequently stand for 3-6 hours. 3. The ability to occasionally drive/ operate foot control for 1-3 hours. 4. The ability to walk occasionally on level surface for 1-3 hours. 5. The ability to walk intermittently on unlevel surface for less than 1 hour. 6. The ability to intermittently bend or climb for less than 1 hour. 7. The ability to occasionally twist, kneel, crouch and crawl for 1-3 hours. 8. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds intermittently in less than 1 hour. 9. The ability to carry up to 50 pounds intermittently in less than 1 hour. 10. The ability to push up to 50 pounds intermittently in less than 1 hour. 11. The ability to pull up to 50 pounds intermittently in less than 1 hour.

Pay:

$85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
