What You'll Do Build and nurture strong professional relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, physicians, board-and-care homes, and discharge planners. Conduct informative Explanation of Hospice Benefits (EOB) meetings with patients and families, clearly explaining hospice philosophy, services, and how we support the entire family. Drive census growth through innovative outreach, targeted marketing strategies, and community presentations. Guide the referral-to-admission process in close partnership with our Director of Nursing and Administrator. Collaborate with the team to identify new target markets and develop creative approaches to expand our reach. Maintain accurate marketing materials, track outreach activities, and ensure full compliance with all state and federal regulations. Participate in community events, educational presentations, and relationship-building activities. What We're Looking For Strong hospice knowledge is required — you must be able to thoroughly and compassionately explain hospice philosophy, benefits, and services to patients and families. Proven marketing or business development background (hospice or healthcare sales experience strongly preferred). Minimum 2 years of hospice experience (preferred). Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping others. Strong time-management and territory-management abilities. Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and willingness to travel locally.
