  • 6/13/2026 Key Responsibilities Assists in planning programs for youth, counsels youth under supervision, and provides direct care, supervision, and control of youth in secure, multi-use and related facilities Works under moderate supervision with delinquent adolescents in short and long term secure confinement, observation, and assessment settings, in multi-use facilities or community based programs.
Oversees delinquent youth in group settings, individual encounters, visitations and community involvement activities. Schedules activities and resolves potentially dangerous situations to ensure the safety of staff, clients, and or the public. Writes or drafts correspondence, reports, documents and/or other written materials. Coordinates and refers services of community resources, placement providers, collateral agencies, the court, and/or other community partners with families, clients, or patients receiving services. Assists full time staff in identifying and applying appropriate security, safety, and/or control intervention techniques or devices to secure people, facilities, property, supplies or equipment Communicates information and ideas clearly, and concisely, in writing; read and understand information presented in writing Qualifications The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a motivated individual who enjoys being challenged while working with troubled youth. We are looking for a candidate who is available to work rotating shifts, which will include primarily nights but may also include days, weekends and holidays. Has a valid Utah Driver's License. Minimum Requirements May be given to candidates 19+ years of age May be given to candidates who have a high school diploma or GED About the Role Location
