Hourly or Stipend-Based (Based on Experience) The Téa Bayonne Choates Foundation is seeking a passionate, organized, and community-minded individual to serve as a Community Engagement & Administrative Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who believes in empowering youth, supporting survivors of domestic violence, and helping nonprofit programs thrive through strong organization and volunteer engagement. The Community Engagement & Administrative Coordinator will assist with daily administrative tasks, volunteer recruitment and communication, event coordination, donor support, and organizational operations related to the Foundation's programs and community initiatives, including the annual Girl, LIVE! Empowerment Conference and Gala. Responsibilities Recruit, organize, and communicate with volunteers Maintain volunteer schedules, records, and event assignments Assist with event planning and coordination Respond to emails, phone calls, and community inquiries Support donor communication and sponsorship follow-up Assist with social media scheduling and community outreach Maintain organized digital and paper files Help prepare reports, forms, presentations, and correspondence Assist leadership with administrative and operational tasks Support outreach efforts with schools, group homes, agencies, and community partners Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and work independently Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and email communication Experience with nonprofit work, volunteer management, or administrative support preferred Passion for youth empowerment and community service Reliable transportation for local events and meetings Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends during events Preferred Qualities Compassionate and professional demeanor Strong attention to detail Social media and Canva experience is a plus Experience working with youth, nonprofits, or community programs preferred About the Téa Bayonne Choates Foundation The Téa Bayonne Choates Foundation empowers teen survivors and witnesses of domestic violence through mentorship, education, community support, and transformational experiences.
