Job Description

Starting Wage:
$17.00/hour (+DOE) Make a Difference Every Day Southwest Behavioral Health Center is looking for a compassionate, dependable Human Service Specialist to join our team at Horizon House West, an all-women's residential substance use treatment program in Cedar City, Utah. In this role, you'll support women on their recovery journey by helping with daily activities, providing encouragement and accountability, transporting clients to appointments and recovery meetings, and helping maintain a safe, positive living environment. No two days are the same, and every day offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. What You'll Do Support clients in their recovery goals Monitor client activities and ensure safety Transport clients to appointments and recovery meetings Assist with daily living needs and program activities Complete documentation and shift responsibilities Work closely with counselors and treatment staff Build positive, supportive relationships with clients Schedule Part-time position with current needs for: Weekends Swing shifts Graveyard shifts (12:00 AM-8:00 AM) Holidays as needed Graveyard shifts receive an additional $1.00/hour shift differential. What We're Looking For Someone who genuinely enjoys helping others Reliable, positive, and willing to learn Comfortable working in a team environment Valid driver's license and good driving record High school diploma or equivalent
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Horizon House West is a residential treatment program serving women. Due to the nature of the program, this position is limited to female applicants as a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ). Applicants must also be at least 25 years of age to meet agency vehicle insurance requirements for transporting clients . Why SBHC?
