POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to provide general counseling, group therapy and casework services to assigned clients and their families.This position reports to:
Program Manager, and Program Director. Substance Abuse Counselor desired certification.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Delegation of authority Authority is delegated to the individual in this position to: Prompt all clients for groups/activities, totaling all attendance weekly. Collect all data necessary to complete ABC forms and related documentation. Provide timely and accurate daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly progress reports for clients on caseload. Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings. Directly responsible for the overall care of about 10 clients assigned as delegated.REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications / Experience Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field is strongly preferred. 2 years' experience working with the mentally ill and co-occurring population- degree may be substituted for hands on experience.
