Inglewood, CA Job Details Full-time | Contract $30 - $35 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Addiction counseling HIPAA High school diploma or GED Substance abuse Working with individuals with substance use disorders Group counseling Full Job Description Conduct client assessments and screenings to evaluate substance use history and treatment needs Develop individualized treatment and recovery plans Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions Monitor client progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation Assist clients in developing relapse prevention and coping strategies Provide crisis intervention and emotional support when needed Educate clients and families about addiction, recovery, and community resources Collaborate with healthcare providers, probation officers, social workers, and other support agencies Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and ethical counseling standards Facilitate referrals to additional treatment, housing, employment, or support services Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and case consultations
