Job Description We are seeking an empathetic and skilled Certified Substance Use Counselor to join our team. The Substance Use Counselor will play a pivotal role in leading therapeutic group sessions, fostering a supportive environment, and helping clients build the necessary skills and resilience for lasting recovery. Key Responsibilities Client Coordination:

Assist clients in obtaining services needed for medical, housing, education, and other.

Group Facilitation:

Lead group sessions for clients with substance use disorders, using evidence-based techniques and therapeutic modalities to promote recovery and personal growth.

Aftercare Planning:

Help clients develop an aftercare plan including a supportive environment and support system network for client's discharge.

Conduct Assessments:

Perform periodic assessments to evaluate client's needs to be able to provide individualized support.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with the treatment team, including therapists, counselors, and other case managers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.

Qualifications:

•CADC, SUDCC, or CATC required (We are not able to hire

RADT/SUDRC

at this time) •Willing to work Saturday or evening if needed (On rotation) Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and recovery principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to group facilitation. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
