Substance Abuse Counselor - Womens Residential Treatment

Be a part of a unique residential recovery program for women by women. Will counsel and monitor clients in a 24/7 residential/supported living environment. Observes, documents and reports client behavior/progress on an ongoing basis. Will conduct group and/or individual counseling. Will have specific expertise in providing substance abuse treatment. Will have clinical skills and experience to assess, plan and develop, coordinate and provide treatment, rehabilitation and support services to program clients with severe and persistent mental illnesses under the clinical supervision of Program Manager. Provides intake, treatment, rehabilitation and support services Will transport clients as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Unlicensed ($45,000/yr.): A Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Community Counseling, School Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from a CACREP, CSWE, CCPTP or COAMFTE accredited university AND be license eligible with the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists allowing for an associate level license within six months of employment.

($45,000) A driver cannot have six or more points against his/her license within the last five years.
