Zion Integrated Behavioral Health Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team in Greenfield, Iowa . This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent part-time schedule (32 hours per week) while making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. Work Location & Schedule 32 hours per week Greenfield office location Flexible scheduling options may be available following successful completion of training and orientation Why Join Zion? ✔ IPERS retirement benefits ✔ Zion pays for required CADC credentialing costs ✔ Supportive and collaborative team environment ✔ Flexible scheduling options after training ✔ Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community ✔ Professional growth and development opportunities ✔ Rewarding work that changes lives every day What You'll Do Conduct substance use disorder assessments Develop individualized treatment plans Provide individual and group counseling services Facilitate discharge planning and continuing care recommendations Make clinical recommendations based on client needs Follow ASAM criteria and evidence-based treatment practices Collaborate with clients, families, and community partners Support individuals in achieving and maintaining recovery goals Qualifications Associate degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field required Must be eligible to obtain a Temporary CADC (T-CADC) within 90 days of hire Must obtain a CADC within one year of hire Zion will cover the cost of required credentialing Join Our Team If you're looking for a rewarding career with a mission-driven organization that invests in its employees and the communities it serves, we'd love to hear from you.
