Here's what makes this job unique: Competitive compensation and benefits Growth opportunities - 1/3 of our roles are filled by internal Work with an agency who does amazing things for others You will be able to change a person's life What you will be doing: Perform admission and intake screenings. Assist in developing treatment plans. Meet with clients weekly to ensure goals are being met and determine areas in need of additional resources and attention. Assess the outcome of treatment planning, adjusting treatment approaches accordingly, and documenting according to established expectations. Educating individuals & groups regarding alcohol and drug abuse, harm reduction, mental illness and available community and self-help resources. Assist in coordinating referrals for ongoing aftercare treatment with agencies and services and facilitating individual's responsibility and participation in aftercare planning.
What you will bring:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required); Associate's Degree or higher in related field (preferred). At least one year of experience in substance abuse or behavioral health counseling (required). Familiarity with Internet, word processing and email systems (required).
