Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Conduct therapy sessions with clients using various therapeutic modalities from a client centered perspective
  • Conduct clinical interviewing/admissions in the form of bio-psych-social assessments for level of care placement
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions in the form of process groups, psychoeducational groups, team building, etc.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, and the interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Participate in family collaboration to teach/mediate family relations from a substance abuse standpoint
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, counseling, social work) preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with substance abuse disorders.
  • Knowledge of different therapeutic modalities and their applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
