Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated behavioral health team as a Substance Abuse Counselor•Alcohol and Drug (CAC-AD, CSC-AD), where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals battling substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, community programs. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through recovery journeys, conducting assessments, and implementing tailored treatment plans that foster lasting change. Responsibilities This is a Residential Facility Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy techniques. Deliver addiction counseling and relapse prevention strategies to support sustained recovery efforts. Facilitate crisis intervention and crisis management to ensure client safety during acute episodes or emergencies. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA and ASAM regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management, discharge planning, and community resource linkage. Requirements Valid certification as a CAC-AD (Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor•Addiction) or CSC-AD (Certified Substance Counselor•Addiction) with appropriate licensure or registration.
Pay:
$25.00•$30.00 per hour
