Full Job Description Position Overview:
Provides individual and group recovery services as designed by Company for substance use disorder clients. Clients may also present for services with mental health issues. Facilitate psychodynamic groups, educational groups as well as create individualized treatment plans and all required documentation as mandated by licensing authority. This role entails administrative work and direct care support.Responsibilities:
- Exceptional ability to understand and perform all 12-core functions and knowledge of clinical dimensions.
- Will be required to submit all documentation in a timely manner and within compliance of DHS required guidelines.
- Adept and aware at managing relationships with culturally diverse clients and co-workers and demonstrate sensitivity and values outside of counselor's comfort zone.
- Maintain professional license and professional conduct.
- Will assist director and company in maintaining a culture which includes dignity and respect for all staff and clients.
- Will attend all required meetings, including client clinical reviews and individual supervisions as requested by supervisor.
- Will admit, transfer and discharge clients only under the direction of the director.
- May provide or assist with recipient intake and treatment planning.
- LADC will also work as a Mental Health Practitioner o Conducting safety checks o Administering medications o Serving as a primary case coordinator for assigned caseloads.
- Administer medications as necessary.
- May prepare meals for up to 16 persons served as needed.
- Assist in completing household chores.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
MN LADC, BBHT
approved- Residential experience a plus
- AA, BA degree or higher with 1-2 years treatment experience
- Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
- High degree of computer literacy, MS office, electronic health records (Credible experience a plus)
- Ability to pass MN DHS background check
- Ability to work as a team member and align tasks and agency goals and work collaboratively with co-workers and management
Pay:
$67,000.00 - $79,000.00 per yearBenefits:
