Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC)

Job Overview Amethyst Behavioral Healthcare is expanding and hiring an LADC to join our outpatient program in St. Paul. We're looking for a motivated clinician who wants real growth—not just another job. You'll work alongside experienced leadership and an established team, gaining hands-on experience in group facilitation, assessments, and co-occurring care , while continuing to build your clinical confidence and skillset. Core Responsibilities Facilitate engaging, recovery-focused groups (IOP - 15 hrs/week) Provide individual counseling sessions Complete comprehensive assessments Develop and update Individual Treatment Plans Coordinate care with referral sources and community partners Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations What You Bring LADC (MN) required Passion for recovery work Ability to connect with diverse client populations Strong or developing group facilitation skills Willingness to learn, grow, and take feedback Strong client engagement and communication skills What Makes This Role Different Join a program being built intentionally from the ground up Work directly with experienced leadership Real mentorship and hands-on development Supportive team environment (not high-volume, burnout-focused) Opportunity for growth into leadership over time

Compensation & Benefits Salary:

$65,000-$75,000 PTO and paid holidays Opportunities for growth into leadership roles Flexible, supportive clinical environment Schedule Monday-Friday Daytime hours (structured IOP schedule) No weekends

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

License/Certification:

LADC or ADC-T in Minnesota (Required)
