DENOVO RECOVERY MISSION
We want to give individuals struggling with addiction the chance to start a new life by providing them compassionate care along with advanced and innovative treatment solutions.
JOB SUMMARY
The Counselor is responsible for providing individual and group therapy to our clients. The counselor is responsible for ensuring that each client develops the skills necessary to live a life free from substance dependence. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional time management skills and a commitment to improving the lives of clients that struggle with substance abuse disorders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing and implementing complex treatment plans for clients with dual diagnoses. Conducting Pre-Admission assessments as needed. Documents treatment and discharge plans, and clients' progress and responses to treatment; and maintains related records and charts. Carry an individual caseload 10-12 clients. Perform therapeutic and educational group therapy sessions SKILLS Proven experience in behavioral healthcare field. Strong abilities to focus on team development and performance improvement. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. Proficiency in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
SCHEDULE
: Thursday-Monday 9-5pm (shift differential pay)
REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree in healthcare/clinical field or 1 year experience in conducting group therapy sessions Missouri credential preferred: MAADC-I, MAADC-II, CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, RADC, LPC, LMSW or
LMPT PAY
