Monday-Friday or 4 weekdays and Saturday half day

Competitive pay (based on experience) Otter House Wellness is hiring a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) to join our PHP/IOP dual diagnosis program . This role is a great fit for a counselor who is confident leading groups, enjoys working in a structured clinical environment, and wants consistent hours with a supportive team. What You'll Be Doing (Day-to-Day) As our CADC, you will provide direct clinical support to clients receiving services for substance use and co-occurring mental health needs. Your primary focus will be group counseling , helping clients build coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, emotional regulation tools, and stronger recovery insight. You'll also support client engagement and progress throughout the program and work closely with the treatment team to ensure consistent, quality care. This position is ideal for someone who can lead with structure, keep groups moving forward, and communicate clearly with both clients and staff. Key Responsibilities Facilitate substance use and recovery-focused groups Support clients with co-occurring mental health symptoms within a dual-diagnosis model Maintain a therapeutic, professional group environment with clear boundaries and expectations Provide client support and accountability while reinforcing treatment goals Coordinate and communicate with the clinical team regarding client progress, barriers, and needs Complete required clinical documentation accurately and on time Required Qualifications Active CADC certification (required) Strong experience with group counseling and client engagement Dependable availability during determined hours Professional communication, time management, and clinical judgment Ability to work well in a team-based treatment environment

Preferred:
