Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS / LCAS-A) Pyramid Healthcare Concord, NC $58,000 - $63,000 annually Full-Time | M-F 11am - 7pm Consistent Schedule. Meaningful Work. Real Impact. Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a licensed Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS or LCAS-A eligible) to join our Concord, NC team. This role provides structured clinical services to individuals in substance use treatment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to support long-term recovery. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments addressing behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs Collaborate with the treatment team to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Client Record (ECR) system Participate in utilization review (UR) and provide required clinical documentation Conduct Level of Care Assessments as needed Support aftercare and discharge planning and assist with outcome data collection Participate in the on-call rotation as assigned Contribute to curriculum development, therapeutic resources, and staff training materials Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment, including crisis intervention when necessary Complete all required trainings and comply with program and company policies Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Active LCAS or LCAS-A eligibility (required) Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field Valid North Carolina licensure or eligibility in one of the following:
