Pride in North Carolina, LLC is seeking a Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (LSAP) to join our Community Support Team, providing clinical support, crisis intervention, and evidence-based services to adults with behavioral health needs. Position Summary The Licensed Substance Abuse Professional works collaboratively with the CST Team Lead to develop and implement person-centered plans and provide both direct and indirect support services. This role supports adults who meet medical necessity criteria for CST services and requires strong clinical judgment, knowledge of adult mental health, and the ability to engage in supportive counseling and crisis management. The LSAP participates in case consultations, training events, and multidisciplinary meetings to ensure high-quality, recovery-oriented care. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Team Lead to develop and update person-centered plans Provide supportive counseling, crisis intervention, and skill development Participate in weekly case consultation meetings and clinical trainings Attend meetings on behalf of the person-served and coordinate with providers Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with agency and Medicaid standards Apply Motivational Interviewing and Pride's evidence-based model in service delivery Support individuals in building confidence, stability, and functional skills Engage adults in a respectful partnership that promotes empowerment and recovery
Education & Experience Required:
Four-year degree in a human services field and two (2) years of experience with the mental health population Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (CCS, LCAS, LCAS-A, or CADC)
Alternative Qualification:
