Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the appropriate treatment plan for clients
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients with substance abuse issues
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals
• Monitor and track client progress throughout the treatment process
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress

Experience:

• Minimum of [1] years of experience in substance abuse counseling or related field
• Proficient in data collection and analysis related to client outcomes
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
• Experience in clinical counseling and behavioral therapy techniques
• Familiarity with research methods in the field of substance abuse treatment
• Ability to provide mental health counseling in addition to substance abuse counseling
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies for individuals with substance abuse issues
• Experience in providing patient care in a compassionate and supportive manner

Requirements:

• Valid certification or license as a Substance Abuse Counselor (e.g., CADC, LADC)
• Strong understanding of addiction and its impact on individuals and families
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
