Full Job Description Job Title:
Group Facilitator - PHP/IOP Facility (Substance Use Disorder)
Position Overview:
The Group Facilitator will be responsible for leading group therapy sessions in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting, focusing on clients with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). The role involves facilitating therapeutic groups, collaborating with clinical teams, and ensuring the effective delivery of treatment modalities to support client recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for clients in PHP/IOP settings, utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches. Manage a case load of 8-14 active clients Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, case managers, and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive care. Complete and maintain group session notes and documentation within 24 hours. Provide crisis intervention and support during sessions, as needed. Encourage client participation and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for all group members. Assist with individualized treatment planning by providing feedback to the clinical team. Follow up on group discussions to reinforce key recovery skills and strategies. Attend team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment adjustments
Qualifications:
Current certification in addiction counseling or mental health (e.g., CDCA or higher). Experience with SUD group therapy in a PHP/IOP setting. Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
