Job Description

We are seeking a Drug and Alcohol Therapist to join our team at our Methadone Clinic on Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia, PA. Earn $26.67/hr.! Position Details Provide individual therapy and group therapy to individuals receiving substance abuse services. Ability to assess individuals and recommend appropriate services based on clinical need as well as individuals' ability and willingness to participate based on what stage of change they are in.
Ability to manage a caseload of individuals and have knowledge of their treatment progress, engagement level, and treatment needs. This also includes strong clinical documentation skills and ability to maintain individuals chart meeting program, local, state, and federal documentation requirements, and standards.
Provides necessary documentation maintaining clinical efficacy and integrity and complies with the standards set by Merakey, county/SCA, DDAP, and other licensing/regulatory/payor organizations. Benefits

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field with specialty or concentration in counseling. Actively working towards a Professional License (i.e., LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist). OR actively working towards a credential through PCB (i.e., CAAC, CADC, CAADC, CCS) or be actively working toward licensure or certification. •Licensure or certification will need to be achieved within two to three (2 - 3) years of hire, depending on requirements.
