Week Required License/Credentials:

Bachelor's degree in clinical psychology, counseling, addictions studies, social work or related field is required. One year's experience in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting is required. Actively working towards a credential through PCB (i.e., CAAC, CADC, CAADC, CCS), or be actively working toward licensure or certification. Licensure or certification will need to be achieved within two to three (2 - 3) years of hire, depending on requirements, is required.

Pay Package:

$20+ per hour, based on experience.

Job Description:

The Drug and Alcohol Counselor will provide individual therapy and group therapy to individuals receiving substance abuse services. Maintain a caseload ensuring individuals are getting the services needed to support sobriety and recovery. Client caseload may include providing services to individuals with dual diagnoses.
