Per HR Job Summary:
Join our team as a Rehab Counselor III, providing support and guidance to individuals in recovery. This onsite, contract position in Philadelphia, PA, requires working night shifts from Monday to Friday. Candidates should have experience in substance abuse counseling or working with the homeless population.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED 1-2 years of relevant experience in substance abuse counseling or working with the homeless population Knowledge of support systems for substance abusers or the homeless Good communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Availability for local travel and flexible scheduling
Qualifications:
Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) preferred Ongoing coursework in Drug and Alcohol Counseling Experience in crisis intervention Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks Experience in conducting psycho-educational groups Proficient in written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
