Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counselors to join our team. Preferably bi-lingual in Spanish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing therapeutic support to individuals and families, particularly in areas such as child family counseling, addiction counseling, and PTSD care. This role requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to promote mental health and well-being. Duties Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients, focusing on behavioral therapy techniques. Conduct assessments to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients. Document patient progress and maintain up-to-date medical records in accordance with organizational policies. Offer support and guidance in home community care settings as needed. Facilitate groups and educational sessions for clients and their families on coping strategies and resources available. Stay informed about the latest developments in counseling practices and mental health resources Qualifications Bachelors or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Valid licensure or certification as required by state regulations. Experience in addiction counseling Certified in the ASAM criteria Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate record keeping. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
