Fee For Service Substance Abuse Counselor

THIS ROLE IS FEE FOR SERVICE POSITION

Genesis House, Inc. is seeking a Fee For Service Substance Abuse Counselor with morning and/or evening availability. Individual must be able to provide a minimum of 20 hours per week . Reliable transportation is a must. This is a clinical position involving the engagement of clientele in a therapeutic relationship with the goal of fostering cognitive and behavioral change to improve overall client functioning.

Responsibilities Include:

Conducts intake screening/assessments and make appropriate treatment recommendations based on ASAM level of care assessment; including but not limited to referrals to inpatient treatment level of care, community services or applicable resources or treatment as identified by biopsychosocial assessment. Schedules and conducts individual, group, and family therapy sessions in person or via electronic platform. Participates in clinical consultations with treatment team on a weekly basis. Coordinates clinical treatment with referral sources. Completes all required case management as set by company policy and funding source requirements. Facilitates communication that may include communication between billing, Utilization review, Accounting and Clinical departments with the organization. Represents agency within the community in a professional manner. Collects co-pay, deductibles, and co-insurance payments, record and submit to Accounting department. Other duties as assigned by Clinical Director. #IND123 Qualifications for the position: Bachelor's degree in an approved human service related field preferred. 1 year of clinical experience within a drug and alcohol setting preferred. Full certification as an addictions counselor (CADC/CAADC) preferred but not required, Master's degree preferred but not required, Professional License or License eligible preferred but not required (LSW, LCSW, LPC).

This is a Fee for Service position meaning you are an independent contractor who will receive a 1099 at the end of the calendar year for monies earned. The independent contractor will be responsible for reporting all taxable income to the proper levels of government. Compensation has been set as follows: Initial Assessments

• $60.00 Individual Sessions
• $30.00 Group Session Outpatient (1 hour)
• $40.00 Group Session Outpatient (1.5 hour)
• $55.00 Group Session Intensive Outpatient (3 hour)
• $110.00 Training
• $16.00 Administrative Time
• $15.00 Supervision
