Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Addiction Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing ASAM-aligned treatment and a strong commitment to helping individuals achieve lasting recovery.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the appropriate level of care based on ASAM criteria. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide individual and group counseling sessions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care. Monitor and document patient progress. Educate patients and their families about addiction and recovery. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Preferred - Licensed or certified as an Addiction Counselor (LADC, CADC, etc.). Unlicensed applicants will also be considered. Minimum 1 year of experience in drug and alcohol counseling. Strong knowledge of ASAM criteria and evidence-based treatment modalities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. Must have professional Liability Insurance.
Compensation:
1099 Employment 50/hr per billable hour
