LCDC Hewitt, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $22 an hour 6 days ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Treatment plan development Completing CE credits Clinical supervision Clinical program implementation Management Patient assessment Caseload management Group therapy Local agency collaboration Individual therapy Mid-level High school diploma or GED Supervising experience LCDC Curriculum implementation Substance abuse Implementing behavioral health therapy programs Discharge planning Working with individuals with mental health conditions Patient charting Patient treatment Working with individuals with substance use disorders Individual counseling Leadership Crisis intervention counseling Rehabilitation and recovery (patient care) Group counseling Full Job Description LCDC Counselor Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities Facilitate group and individual sessions, pertaining to recovery and treatment Responsible with working in a collaborative effort with other organizations to ensure clients needs are addressed Provide case management for all assigned clients Follow guidelines and curriculum for group sessions Document all sessions, contacts and referrals in client charts Attend required CEU training and other discretionary training for recertification and career development Follow all DSHS licensure regulations During the CI first 1000 hours the coordinator or QCC shall be on duty at the duty at the program sit to observe and document the intern performing assigned duties such as group and individual sessions, assessments, treatment plans and discharge summaries. During the CI's 2nd 2000 hours the CTI coordinator/QCC shall be on site or available by phone. The QCC will provide documentation of supervision weekly basis for group and individual sessions and QCC will sign off on all necessary paperwork, including but not limited to assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. All inters will receive at least 2 hours of supervision. Work with and assist other employees when necessary CI will report directly to
LCDC/QCC
as designated by Clinical supervisor Qualifications HS diploma or GED. Experience working with the TDCJ. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and accurately. Position requires knowledge and experience in the substance abuse development and implementation of mental health programs If in recovery from substance abuse, must have at least 5 years of sobriety and cannot be under supervision within the criminal justice system Excellent teamwork skills Demonstrated leadership skills Establishes and maintains a professional and therapeutic relationship within the guidelines of professional standards, program participant profiles, confidentiality laws and the newest clinical research available. LCDC intern licensure required Summary In the role of an LCDC, you will provide essential addiction counseling and behavioral therapy to patients, focusing on their recovery and well-being. Reporting to a clinical supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in patient assessment and medical documentation while applying premium skills such as crisis intervention and group therapy. Your leadership and supervising experience will be vital in guiding patients through discharge planning and continuous integration into their communities.
